Sunken chocolate apple pie
A real classic that is so easy to bake with reduced sugar using Xucker Like Sugar💗 and it tastes incredibly good - try it and see for yourself. Quickly prepared and wonderfully juicy!😋
You need:
For one tray: 150 g of vegan dark chocolate 200 g of soft butter 180 g of Xucker Like Sugar 6 eggs (M). 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 200 g of spelt flour 1 bag of baking powder 800 g of small apples |
For decoration: 50 g of butter 80 g Xucker Like Sugar 150 g of sliced almonds |
- Heat the oven to 160°C (top/bottom heating). Finely grind the dark chocolate in a high-efficiency blender. Pour into a bowl.
- Mix the soft butter and Xucker Like Sugar briefly with a hand mixer until they become creamy.
- Add the remaining ingredients and finely ground chocolate and mix everything briefly into a smooth mixture.
- Cover the tray with baking paper and spread the dough evenly on it.
- Cut the apples in half and remove the core. Cut the apple halves into slices and put them on the dough.
- Bake the chocolate apple cake in the oven for 20 minutes. Leave to cool completely.
- For decoration, melt butter and Xucker Like Sugar in a pan. As soon as the mixture turns a little brown, add the sliced almonds and mix everything quickly. Quickly remove from heat.
- Arrange the caramelized almonds on the cake. If you want, you can add some Xucker Like Sugar on top.
