Panna Cotta means "cooked cream," and that pretty much says it all. After all, everyone loves cream, right? Even those who follow a vegan diet can now find many plant-based alternatives that can rival the original. Making Panna Cotta yourself without added sugar Traditionally, gelatin is used for this Italian dessert. However, in our recipe for Panna Cotta with strawberry sauce, we prefer the plant-based gelling agent Agar Agar. This is made from the cell walls of algae and is therefore completely vegan.

Instructions

1. Panna cotta with strawberry sauce can be served in different ways. You can either use small molds and later turn them out onto a plate or pour the panna cotta into four elegant glasses.
2. In a small pot, mix all the ingredients, including the Vanillexucker, and bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
3. Pour the panna cotta into the four prepared glasses, let it cool slightly, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
4. If serving on a plate, briefly dip the mold into hot water to loosen the edges before inverting it.
5. Blend the strawberries with a bit of Xucker and pour the strawberry sauce over the panna cotta. Garnish with fresh mint and strawberries.
