Quark casserole with apple & cinnamon
We're in the middle of autumn, and besides rain, gray skies, and colorful leaves, that also means it's time for some more warmth. So how about a warm breakfast in the morning? We recommend: Quark casserole with apple and cinnamon. It tastes a bit like cheesecake, but without a base, and is delicious both hot and cold. It's easy to prepare and perfect for breakfast, a snack, or even a post-workout meal. This recipe is truly filling thanks to its high protein content of 20 g per serving. Instructions
1. For the quark casserole with apple and cinnamon, preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven).
2. Lightly grease two small ovenproof dishes.
3. Wash the apple in hot water and core it. Then cut one half of the apple, including the peel, into thin slices.

5. Lightly press the pre-cut apple slices into the quark mixture and then sprinkle with a little cinnamon.
6. Bake the quark casserole in the oven for about 25 minutes and then let it cool slowly.
7. Finally, spread the flaked almonds over the quark casserole and sprinkle with a little powdered erythritol, if desired. Enjoy!
