Instructions

1. Wash, peel, and thinly slice the apples. Grease a round baking pan with butter. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat).
2. Cream the butter and Zero Sugar in a mixing bowl using a hand mixer until creamy. Add the eggs and natural yogurt and continue mixing. Stir in the spelt flour, Vanillexucker and baking powder until smooth.
3. Pour ⅔ of the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spoon. Spread the apple slices evenly over the batter, layering them.
4. Mix four tablespoons of Zero Sugar with two teaspoons of cinnamon and sprinkle half of the Xucker-cinnamon mixture over the apples.
5. Spread the remaining batter over the apples with a spoon. The apple slices should be as well covered as possible. Bake the cake in the oven for about 35-40 minutes.
6. Halfway through the baking time, spread the remaining Xucker-cinnamon mixture over the cake and place aluminum foil over the springform pan if the cake has browned too quickly.
7. Let the cake cool on a wire rack and then loosen the sides of the springform pan. If necessary, run a knife along the edge to prevent any sticking to the sides of the pan.
