Make your own apple jelly
Making your own apple jelly is really easy with Xucker! You can boil the apple jelly down from apple juice or juice fresh apples. Make your own apple jelly with xylitol without added sugar If you want to boil apple jelly down with Xucker, you can simply use our 2:1 gelling sugar. For jellies, we recommend a mixing ratio of 1.6:1 so that the jelly is nice and firm. This way, one liter of apple juice and 625 g of gelling sugar will make a wonderful golden apple jelly that will give any autumn breakfast a classy touch.
Instructions
1. Before you can start cooking the jelly, the jam jars and their lids must be sterilized in boiling water.
2. Then bring the juice to the boil with the gelling sugar and lemon juice and boil for about four minutes.
3. Do a gelling test with a clean tablespoon and a small plate. If the juice remains completely liquid even after cooling, cook the jelly for another 1-2 minutes.
4. Pour the apple jelly into the jars while it is still boiling hot and close them tightly.
